2009 WORLD FINALS: Daejeon, South Korea

The 2009 world finals of the Lachs Moot will be held during the 60th International Astronautical Congress and the I.I.S.L. Colloquium on the Law of Outer Space from 12-16 October 2009 at the Daejeon Convention Centre in Daejeon, Republic of Korea.

The world semi-final will be held on Tuesday, 13 October, with the world final, judged by three sitting members of the International Court of Justice, to be held on Thursday, 15 October, followed by the annual dinner of the International Institute of Space Law.

Participants of the Lachs Moot are encouraged to attend the International Astronautical Congress, especially as there are several policy and law sessions each year that may be of interest. Further, students are entitled to a substantially discounted registration fee for the Congress.
